Thank you for your interest in the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at Rochester General Hospital. Rochester General Hospital is a teaching hospital and a member hospital of Rochester Regional Health. Our system consists of five hospitals covering a 14-county area in New York State with seamless integrated healthcare and the highest level of care for newborns, pregnant women, and women with gynecologic cancers or other health issues needing care in Women’s Health.
Our program is proud of the strong clinical rotations we are able to provide for residents. Minimally invasive surgical opportunities are the center point to our Gynecologic Surgery rotation, where residents have the opportunities to train under the mentorship of physicians in our designated AAGL Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery Center and learn robotics with the newest daVinci Xi Robotic System. Our faculty and attending staff are outstanding mentors, teachers and are clinical instructors here and at the University of Rochester.
There are daily opportunities to treat a large volume of diverse patients with state of the art techniques in medicine and surgery. Our residents graduate well prepared for practice and many successfully pursue private practice with physicians in our area or fellowships in one of the subspecialties.
We look forward to meeting you.
